Yes, JAMB/UTME is required for admission into any College of Nursing Sciences in Nigeria, including Goldvida College of Nursing Sciences. The minimum JAMB/UTME score accepted is 150. Ensure your JAMB registration is complete and your score meets this cut-off before applying.

Yes, there will be an entrance exam followed by an oral interview. Dates and venue will be communicated to all applicants.

We currently offer two pre-registration nursing programmes:

• Basic Nursing (ND) — a 2-year National Diploma programme accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
• Basic Nursing (HND) — a 2-year Higher National Diploma programme, also accredited by the NMCN.

We do not currently offer Basic Midwifery or any other specialisation, but we intend to expand our programme offerings in the near future.

No, we do not currently offer post-basic nursing or post-basic midwifery. We focus exclusively on pre-registration Basic Nursing programmes (ND and HND). This may change in the near future as we intend to expand our offerings.

Both are Basic Nursing programmes accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) and each runs for 2 years. The ND (National Diploma) is the foundational pre-registration nursing programme. The HND (Higher National Diploma) is the higher-level programme, typically pursued after completing the ND. Applicants should apply for the programme that matches their current qualifications and career goals.

The application form fee is ₦15,000. All payments must be made online through the official application portal. The college does not accept cash payments for any of its services — do not pay cash to anyone. Anyone asking you to pay cash should be reported to the college authorities immediately.

We do not use agents. You either complete the application online (including payments) or visit the college premises directly. Beware of anyone claiming to sell forms on behalf of the school.

Admissions are strictly based on your performance in the entrance exam and oral interview. Anyone asking you for payments outside of the official application fees is out to defraud you and should be reported to the college management.

Applicants must have at least five (5) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Results from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB accepted in no more than two sittings. WAEC and NECO may be combined; NABTEB must be from a single sitting and cannot be combined with other exam bodies. Candidates must be at least 16 years of age.

No, we currently offer only Basic Nursing programmes — the ND (National Diploma) and the HND (Higher National Diploma). Community Nursing, Community Midwifery, Basic Midwifery, and other specialisations are not available at this time, but may be added in the future.
