The Admission Process
Everything from your application to your first day, in the order it happens — for the 2026/2027 session.
Before anything else: make this College your First Choice on JAMB
Log in to your JAMB CAPS profile and confirm that Goldvida College Of Nursing Sciences, 9th Mile, Ngwo is selected as your first choice institution. JAMB will not release your admission to us otherwise, no matter how well you score here. If it is wrong, correct it on your JAMB profile before you apply.
Apply and pay the application fee
- Start at Apply Online and register with an email address you actually use — every notice goes there.
- Verify your email with the code we send you.
- Fill the application form: personal details, contact and next of kin, O'Level results, JAMB details, and your programme choice.
- Upload a clear passport photograph and the documents the checklist asks for.
- Pay the application fee of ₦15,000 by card or bank transfer. It is non-refundable.
Paying by bank transfer? Upload your proof of payment and your application is received immediately, but it stays marked awaiting confirmation until our accounts team verifies the transfer — usually within one working day. You do not need to do anything else.
Once payment is confirmed you are issued an application number. Keep it: every later step asks for it.
How you are assessed
There is no screening examination this session.
Admission is decided from your O'Level results and your JAMB score, both of which you supply with your application. There is nothing further to sit.
Because your grades are the assessment, enter them exactly as they appear on your result. Where you have more than one sitting, your best grade in each subject is the one that counts.
Candidates are then ranked on merit against the places available in each programme. Your credentials are verified against the originals before registration is confirmed, so a grade entered that you cannot produce will cost you the place.

The admission decision
Candidates are ranked on merit against the number of places available in each programme. You will be placed in one of these:
Admitted
You have a place, subject to accepting it below.
Waitlisted
Held in reserve; offered a place if one is released.
Not offered
You did not meet the mark for this session.
Check yours any time at Check Admission with your application number. Admitted candidates are emailed an offer and can download their Letter of Provisional Admission.
Accept your offer
You have 14 days from the date on your admission letter.
An offer that is not accepted within that time may lapse and the place released to another candidate. We will remind you by email as the date approaches.
- Go to Accept Admission and enter your application number.
- Download your Letter of Provisional Admission.
- Pay the acceptance fee of ₦25,000 (non-refundable) by card or bank transfer.
- Download your Acceptance Report as soon as the payment is confirmed.
What the Acceptance Report contains
- Page 1 — Acceptance of Offer. Print it, sign and date it, and submit it to the Registry.
- Page 2 — Student Data Form. For your personal file with Academic Affairs.
- Page 3 — Payment Receipt. The Bursary's proof that the fee was paid.
Becoming a student
Once the acceptance fee clears, the College issues your registration number and creates your student portal account. Your login details are emailed to you — change the password the first time you sign in at Student Login.
Report to the College on the resumption date with the documents listed below for credential verification, then complete your registration with your Head of Department.

Documents to bring for verification
Bring the originals and a photocopy of each. Credentials are verified before your registration is confirmed, and an admission obtained with a false document is withdrawn at any stage.

Original JAMB / UTME Result
The result slip for the year you applied.
O'Level Result (WAEC / NECO / NABTEB)
All sittings you presented.
O'Level Scratch / Result Checker Card
Needed to verify the result on the exam board portal.
Birth Certificate
Or a sworn declaration of age.
Certificate of Local Government of Origin
Identification of state and LGA.
Recent Passport Photographs
Red background, same photo as your application.
The College may ask for further documents. Anything additional will be communicated to you directly.
Checking a document is genuine
Every document this portal issues carries a QR code and a verification code in its footer. Scan the code, or type it at /verify, to confirm the document came from this College and to see exactly what it says.
A document that does not verify did not come from us. Report it to hello@goldvida.edu.ng.
Pay the College, and no one else
The College does not authorise any individual or agent to collect payments on its behalf. Every application and every payment goes through this portal. If someone asks you for money outside it, it is not us — contact 09040070708 / 09022277038 before you pay.
